In August, 2001, we entered into the technical collaboration agreement with Shanghai Tunnel
Engineering Co.,Ltd.(STEC) in connection with manufacuring of steel moulds for production
of concrete segment for their road tunnel project in Shanghai, Dailin Lu Project, of which
specifications are 11000mm outer dia.亊480mm thickness 亊1500mm width, 8 sections with
tenons. Manufacturing of the steel moulds was proceeded at their affiliated plant,
Machinery
Plant, and concrete segments are being produced at their another plant, Component
Sub-company, and there have been attained the successful results at the both plants.
We intend to continue and enhance this technical collaboration and to develop
the markets in China, South East Asia and Japan.
After overcoming various difficulties, the first ring of six rings of the moulds was completed in January, 2002 at Machinery Plant, and its dimensional tolerance is of the same level as that of Japan-made one.

In the same month as above, the high quality of concrete segments was confirmed through testing of concrete casting and horizontal ring assembling at Component Sub-company.

A whole project was completed successfully in November, 2002, and the road
tunnel crosses the River Huang Pu.
